Pamela,
I really enjoyed the show. With a new series it always takes awhile to develop the charachters, but Skyler just jumps right in. I have always enjoyed what you bring to a role, VIP was a great example. I especially like how you incorporate references to you personal life. Very funny, and wishing you great success.

Pretty good pilot episode. The cast was well introduced. Some of the humor was a bit strained, given the need to introduce us to so many new people.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the characters develop. I hope you get the chance to develop a well-rounded character, as you have in other parts.
Good luck!

Hey Pam,
I LOVED the show! I’m a huge Christopher Lloyd fan! Is he amazing or what?? And your sense of humor, as always, was right on! The whole cast was phenomenal and it reminded me of the pilot episode of Cheers, when Diane is abandoned by her fiance and by the end of the first episode she is offered a job at Cheers. BTW, I see that on your list of favorite albums you put, Tupac, Greatest Hits. I am an entertainment journalist for http://www.PR.com and I recently interviewed Dina LaPolt, who is business partners with Afeni Shakur (Tupac’s mom) and she runs his entire estate and production company. If you are a Tupac fan, you should read this interview I did with her. You’ll love it! Here’e the link:

You know what Pam, some people may be cynical that all these comments above come from new Friendster users who only have you or a cast memeber of Stacked (Fox 8.30/9.30c) in their profile, but not me! There’s far too much cynicism in the world today, and that’s the last thing we want on our minds when we’re still basking in the glory of Stacked!

Great show! Great show to kick back & enjoy. I LOVE how witty Skyler is! ( Its so much better if characters are witty, then dumb… that died with Married with Children’s Kelly Bundy ) And Christopher Lloyd has always been one of my favorites. The show will live long!
Congrats to everyone involved in the making of the show!
It would be great to see the show live

Pam,
You’re funny and I’ll give whatever you’re in a chance. A little advice : That writing was hacky even for a sitcom. And fire the intern who directed last night’s episode. He’s got a little more to learn. Less chessey more salacious and funny.
Good luck

I thought the episode was very good, especially for a pilot. Everyone was great, even the child actors who played Gavin’s kids. The show succeeded in making me want to know more about the characters, especially Katrina and Harold. Very witty writing, nice use of camera angles, and great characters. I look forward to watching next week!

hmmm…k i’ll start with what i liked about the show, i liked most of the cast, especially you and Marissa…now for what i didn’t like…i’m not really sure, but there was something missing…it had its funny moments, but it was akward…it didn’t run smooth - that could be because it’s new (i hope)…i taped “Smallville” and “Lost” was a repeat…i’ll give it another chance if “Smallville” or “Lost” is a repeat next week. Good luck! Cat

Congrats Pam! Ratings are in and you did a 5.0/8 share. If you remain consistent through 6 weeks, the show will get picked up for a full season. Good Luck!

Very Funny!! My wife and I attended the taping of the pilot last week and watched the premier last night. We loved the show and hope to see another live taping! The cast is great, especially Christopher Lloyd who is one of my favorites!
Congrats to you and the cast and best of luck!

I’m just here for the donuts. Hey, who took the last one with sprinkles?

Had the biggest argument with my girlfriend - she was extraordinarily disturbed that I find you physically attractive. We are both intellectually oriented - she can’t understand. She finds you so artificial in every sense. She sent a link with foto comparing you to Dolly Parton (only bad foto I’ve seen of you). I saw you at least twice on H. Stern - I find you quite refreshingly honest and direct. You appear to have a good sense of who you are and why you are popular - with no pretensions. All the women I know are at a loss as to what men find attractive in you. As far as Stacked goes, I don’t really watch network sitcoms - I watched this out of curiousity because you were in it.
So the biggest question for me is: can intelligent, sophisticated, serious, non-superficial men find Pamela Anderson attractive?

Wow .. it was fab and hilarious!!!!.. great job Pam!!!!

In answer to Brian’s post (above?),
HELL YA!
It’s refreshing in this PC driven age that there is a beautiful, sexy and intellegent woman who has a good sense of humour about herself and why other people idolize her and who doesn’t take herself too seriously..
The first episode of Stacked was funny! Looking forward to the rest…

Hey Pam,
I only saw the last 5 minutes of the show so I didn’t really get to see a lot. Anyway, I actually had more of a question regarding animal rights/PETA, so it’d be really great if you could message me. thanks.

April 18th, 2005 at 10:51 am
Gotta tell the truth here, Pam. NOT the best project you could be involved in. The premise is absolutely ludicrous. I mean, WHY would an entire group of people in a bookstore just simply hang on every word and action of some customer? What, just because she’s blonde and displays uber cleavage? That’s preposterous. The male employees would try to get their glances in, yeah, but they wouldn’t just trip over themselves to do so. Give men SOME credit. I realize you’re producing this one, too— just like VIP. But in VIP, you cast yourself as an accidental heroine. It was unique, it was much funnier than anyone expected, and it worked! I hope you didn’t come up with the Skyler character premise, because if you did, it smacks of egotism, darling. I hope you don’t think the world hangs on your every move and word like the fellow Stacked characters do for Skyler. You never impressed me as arrogant, so I hope this is something you were coerced into doing— not something you came up with on your own. The Skyler character herself isn’t arrogant, but the assumption that everybody in a five-mile radius of her cares all about her business IS quite arrogant.
I know you stopped VIP because of health problems (bless your heart—hope it’s going better for you now). But truly, Pamela? Out of all the TV shows you’ve done (including Stacked), VIP was your best one. I wish you’d consider putting it back on and leave Stacked as quickly as possible!
Still love you, though!

To tell the truth, I wasn’t a fan of yours before I saw Stacked. And seeing the previews, I assumed that it would be mainly boob jokes. But I was suprisingly pleased by it. It had a lot more intelligence and substance in the humor than I originally thought it would, and while not the best show I’ve ever seen, it does show a lot of potential. It does make its point well in the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. I will definently try to catch the next episode and look forward to it. I think I may become a fan of yours after all. Keep up the good work!
