Long time…no blog….! Sorry, but I’ve been on the road for the last few weeks. Hey, I wanted to let everyone know that Stacked is airing tonight on FOX at 8:30pm. This will be the last episode to air this summer so be sure to check it out. We’ve been picked up by the network for a full season so make sure you look for us this fall.
We just got picked up for next season!!!!!!! This is so exciting, and amazing, and perfect!!!!

First…thanks so much for all the feedback you all are giving me on the show. I’m so glad you are all watching and enjoying it. And for those of you who can’t see it because you are not in the U.S., call FOX Television at 313-369-1000 and tell them you want to see the show broadcast in your country!!! I just got back from London and everyone there was asking about it too. We are going to find out next week if we are getting picked up for a full season. The show is doing so well. We knew it was going to go over well but hey, we’re doing even better than expected so we are feeling really good about being here for a long run. We were #1 in our 8:30 time slot and then ratings went even higher when we were moved to 9:30. So now we are #1 at 9:30 and we’ve blown everyone at the networks minds with our ratings…things look really good…..cross your fingers for us!!!! Apparently we are going to find out next week! I’ll let you know as soon as I get word.
We are filming episode 6 today. It’s really fun to be here with everyone…cast and crew are so great, I don’t want it to end because we are just starting to catch our stride and are becoming great friends! Well, back to rehearsal! So, Todd Adair, our FOX PR expert, master, …. guy has filled me in on some great news. Our show has taken over number one in the (:30 time slot. This is such awesome news for us and for FOX. American Idon, which come on before us always wins the 9pm slot so FOX is leading all the networks from 9pm to 10pm on Wednesdays. I don’t want to jinx us so I’ll leave it at that…;-)
We’re taping episode 5 today. It’s crazy…as usual! Charles (who plays my ex-boyfriend Eddie) is back in this one. We built a huge set of an Irish Pub for his scene. New Zealanders look so "at home" in pubs don’t they…
And by the way…. I’m almost broke buying my own clothes for the show. Does anyone out there notice? YSL, Hermes< Gucci, Louis Voiton, Bottega, Fendi, Pucci, Vinienne Westwood, Boucheron…..lot’s of diamonds - OK..some were gifts. But all the "girls" were there…Why Not - it’s what I’d want to see. I got in trouble when I asked for Channel knitting needles (for the episode we are shooting now)…I guess they don’t make them…YET?
I don’t know if you all have heard…..if you’ve been watching the news you probably have…..but I’m a big supporter of PETA. We are making a major push right now to force KFC to change the way that they do business. I hope you guys will all take a minute to check out the PETA website and lend a hand.
FYI….It really was Steven’s voice on the show. He recorded his lines at the studio he is working in out in Boston. Pretty cool!
Wow! What an incredible night. American Idol was quite the experience, let me tell ya. I laughed, I cried…..I cringed a bit (can you believe that Ryan Seacrest??). But seriously, it was really great to be invited on their show. Did you see our seats….we were right behind Paula. They were like, the best seats in the house. I didn’t know how emotional that show was until I saw Paula hugging and crying with Constantine ’s mom when he was eliminated. Major tearjerker…. I really have to give a shout out to the Fox folks and the American Idol crew for inviting us and helping us promote our show on their time.
And now, on to our show….I hope you guys thought this episode was funny. Everyone at the studio says it was our best so far. I think we are really starting to get into a groove. The jokes feel more real and the writers are certainly pushing the boundaries a bit….which I love. Marissa’s character got a lot of action…and abuse in this episode. I think she’s perfect! Ok…trivia question….do you think that was really Stephen Tyler’s voice?
We have some great treats for Stacked fans.
First….we are airing at a specail time on Wednesday night. We’ll be on at 9:30 just after American Idol. This is really great news because it will give a lot of people who might not have seen us a chance to check out the show. We’ve been doing really well in the ratings already but it sure can’t hurt to get a boost from the American Idol viewers.
And Second….The folks from American Idol have invited us to come to their show. I’ll be there in the audience with Christoper, Elon, Brian, and Marissa. Hopefully they’ll let us up on stage so that we can say a little bit about our show and convince everyone to stay tuned in for Stacked. Who knows, maybe Marissa will sing for us…She’s amazing!!!!!
